What is palliative care? Palliative care, also known as “supportive care” is the treatment, care and support for people with life-limiting illness, their family and friends. It is designed to help you have a good quality of life.

Involves:

  • Management of physical symptoms such as pain
  • Social care, helping with things like washing, dressing, or meal preparation.
  • Support for the family and friends.

What is end of life care? This deals with treatment, care and support for people nearing the end of their life, and is an essential part of palliative care.

Our highly trained Nurses, HCAs, and Carers can help by providing:

  • Live-in care (or day care or night care)
  • Medication administration
  • Meal preparation
  • Personal care
